Description: Shigitasu sawa is a very nice variegated Acer palmatum that is most specatular in spring. In spring the light cream colored leaves have a deep green prominant veining. The leaf will darken in summer and will often bronze out in the sun with nice tints of red and pink. In Fall the leaves of Shigitasu sawa become rich red.
